Aharai! Leadership works to ensure that every young person in Israel has an equal opportunity to unlock their potential, lead meaningful change, and take part in building a just, united, and democratic society.
The Leadership Division brings together all of Aharai!’s pre-army frameworks – powerful educational programs in which hundreds of young men and women embark on a six-month to year-long journey, right before their military service, to discover themselves and become a positive force in the country.
We believe every teen can lead.
We’re here to give them the tools to do it.
Our leadership frameworks operate through five unique educational pillars that shape participants’ identities and sense of responsibility toward themselves, society, and the country:
Expanding Knowledge & Horizons
Courses, lectures, and in-depth discussions on topics like society, identity, Zionism, economics, gender, philosophy, and more – encouraging critical thinking, self-exploration, and the development of a personal worldview

Giving back to others, fostering mutual responsibility, and engaging in a variety of volunteer activities across the country – to build true social responsibility.
Preparation for Meaningful Military Service
Personal guidance, physical and mental training, meetings with soldiers and commanders – helping each participant maximize their potential ahead of their military service.
Diverse & Cohesive Group Life
A vibrant community of young people from all walks of life – secular and religious, from the center and the periphery – coming together as one family to promote solidarity and shared purpose.
