Nachshon is Israel’s #1 program

for a select group of 12th graders with a sense of mission and high motivation, who view personal achievement as intertwined with giving back and serving the State of Israel in meaningful roles.

In the program, you’ll meet senior commanders from the IDF and security services, as well as prominent leaders from the social and public sectors.
You’ll receive tips from elite unit commanders on how to prepare for interviews and screenings, participate in one-on-one conversations with senior officers, and benefit from mentoring by elite unit alumni.
You'll also receive personalized guidance on pre-army programs and gap years, take part in an intimate conversation with the commander of the IDF Officer Training Base (Bahad 1), and join a leadership development track that prepares you for commanding and officer roles in the IDF.

Out of thousands who apply, only a handful are accepted –
because Nachshon is designed to be an intensive and high-quality training program. Full commitment and seriousness are required throughout the year.
