KEREM

Empowering Haredi Youth with Responsibility, Belonging, and Hope

🧭
Who Are We

KEREM is a transformative educational program rooted in the heart of Israel’s Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community.
We believe in the untapped potential of Haredi teens and provide them with the tools to strengthen their sense of personal capability, social responsibility, and connection to their future.

Our activities are fully integrated into both mainstream and alternative Haredi institutions, in close cooperation with school leaders and educators — all while respecting Torah values and the unique culture of the Haredi world.

🎯
Our Educational Mission

Empowerment – Expanding horizons, helping each participant believe in their own strengths and possibilities.

Responsibility – Cultivating a deep sense of personal, communal, and national responsibility.

Mutual Commitment – Reinforcing a strong connection to the Haredi community, to Israeli society, and to the Jewish people.

🛠
Our Educational Tools

Learning Through Sacred Texts – Deep exploration of classic Jewish texts (e.g. Ramchal's Derech Hashem, Chassidic thought) as a gateway to personal and collective reflection.

A Safe Space for Growth – Creating supportive and honest group environments for open, respectful dialogue.

Emotional Literacy – Encouraging expression of feelings and questions as the foundation for identity, growth, and resilience.

Stepping Outside the Comfort Zone – Guided challenges that promote self-discovery and leadership (e.g. outdoor journeys, public speaking, community projects).
